RTA Commemorates World Water Day 2018

Led by the Executive Director, the staff of the Royal Textile Academy commemorated World Water Day 2018 by doing clean up along the stretch of Chubachhu stream near RTA.

The majority of waste collected consisted plastic wrappers and other cloth rags.

RTA maintains cleanliness of the stream by doing regular clean up activities along the stretch.

The theme for World Water Day 2018 is ‘Nature for Water’ – exploring nature-based solutions to the water challenges we face in the 21st century.

RTA is one of the stakeholders who have adopted Chubachhu stream in 2017 along with other organizations situated along the stream. It is being spearheaded by National Environment Commission Secretariat.
