𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠

A team consisting of eight members is at Dungkar Nagtshang, Lhuentse for carrying out conservation treatment of Thangkas for the establishment of Wangchuck Heritage Center. Dungkar Nagtshang, the ancient home of Dungkar Choeje and the ancestral home of the Wangchuck Dynasty will be converted into the ‘Wangchuck Heritage Centre.’ This project is being initiated by Lhuentse Dzongkhag Administration and the RTA is providing expertise in textile components and the establishment of the galleries and display.
