𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

The collections at the RTA and Textile Museum, Department of Culture are being uploaded on a digital platform called Collections Management System (CMS). Collection Management System is an application developed by a local vendor for the RTA and Textile Museum, for inventory and recording the museum’s collection. The system will enable easy access to the stored artifacts for the Museum staff.

After the artifact is taken out from its previous storage location, the catalog worksheets are updated, photographs taken and the artifact carefully rolled and stored in our Compact Storage System. The updated catalog worksheet along with the photograph is then entered into the CMS.

A total of 530 artifacts have been entered into the system so far.
