The staff of the RTA observed the fifth zero waste hour. The RTA collected garbage starting from the RTA premises extending to Norzin lam and Yarden Lam as a part of the Zero Waste Hour.
Led by the Head of Administration, 17 staff joined the campaign and picked 4 sacks of garbage. This is 4 sacks less than last monthβs garbage, the garbage mostly included pet bottles and plastics.
Zero Waste Hour is initiated by the National Environment Commission to create awareness programs to attain zero waste society by 2030. The initiative calls for offices, institutions and every Bhutanese to take one hour on the second day of every month to clean their surroundings.
