Students from Changangkha visited RTA

A total of 71 students from Changangkha Middle Secondary School (MSS) in Thimphu visited RTA on 21 September 2017.

They were given guided tours by curators in two groups to all exhibition galleries of RTA. They also visited Weaving Centre where they were excited to get hands-on weaving experiences.

After the visits to exhibitions and galleries, they were invited to the conference hall for an interactive session.

Many raised questions and were curious to know on aspects of our traditional Bhutanese weaving art. Many said they enjoyed and learnt a lot on traditional Bhutanese textiles and related subjects by visiting exhibition galleries guided by officials from RTA.

We would like to thank Changangkha MSS for organizing educational tour for selected group of students from their school. We look forward for more such programs in the future.

RTA provides regular guided and interactive sessions to any visiting group of students to RTA from any schools. It is part of educational program which RTA aims to reach out to more students.
